Stewarding Land ・Nurturing People ・ Strengthening Community

Rooted in Nature Stewardship Society is a registered British Columbia nonprofit dedicated to regenerative land stewardship, youth education, food literacy, and community resilience.
Our programs operate in partnership with Pend d’Oreille River Ranch, a 320-acre regenerative farm in the West Kootenays of British Columbia. The ranch provides established outdoor learning spaces, gardens, animal stewardship areas, and natural ecosystems that support immersive, land-based education.
We believe healthy soil grows healthy food.
Healthy food nourishes healthy people.
Healthy people strengthen healthy communities.
Rooted in Nature Stewardship Society fosters resilient communities through regenerative land stewardship, integrating soil health, animal systems, food literacy, and hands-on ecological education.
