The Problem

Have you lost your sense of purpose?

Do you feel disconnected from your heart, unsure of your dreams, or overwhelmed by addiction, grief, PTSD, or mental health struggles?

You’re not alone.

Depression and anxiety are doubling with every generation.

The human brain evolved in tribes of around 150 people—gathering for big meals, ceremonies, and shared experiences that created deep connection.

Modern society offers convenience, but at a cost:

• Our food is often stripped of nutrients.
• Our lives are rushed, plugged in, and disconnected.
• Our bodies are depleted, our minds exhausted, and our hearts aching for real connection.

The Vision

What if there was a place to change that?

A place where you could:

• Unplug from the noise
• Reconnect with your inner voice
• Eat real, healing food
• Learn to make plant medicine
• Align with nature and seasonal rhythms
• Connect deeply with animals—especially horses
• Experience horse-guided empowerment and emotional healing
• Build authentic community
• Learn practical self-sufficiency skills

At Pend d’Oreille River Ranch & Regenerative Farm, we are opening our gates to a new kind of healing—one rooted in land, community, nourishment, and purpose.

Through hands-on education, experiential retreats, self-reliance workshops, and ceremonial gatherings, we are restoring what was lost: connection to food, to earth, to each other, and to self.

We believe food is medicine. We grow it that way—with reverence for life, for soil, and for the bodies we’re feeding.

From wild-foraged teas to tallow salves, herbal tinctures to healing meals—this land is alive with medicine, and we’re here to share it.

We also believe animals are medicine.

Our horses are powerful co-facilitators in the healing process. Through Horse Guided Empowerment, guests are invited to reconnect with themselves through stillness, presence, and deep listening—guided by the intuitive wisdom of these sentient beings.

Our animals live a peaceful, free-range life. Our plants are tended with care. And alongside them, people come here to feel again. To get grounded. To heal. To remember who they are.

With enough support, we hope to offer this beyond organic, soul-nourishing food and medicine to families in need, and create programs for those facing mental health challenges.

We dream of building a hub where facilitators and teachers lead courses in:

• Food security & regenerative farming
• Self-sufficiency & off-grid living
• Community building & personal growth
